Usually, tourists will immediately mention "Manado" or "Bunaken" as a must-visit tourist destination during a vacation in North Sulawesi. In fact, another equally beautiful and interesting destination in North Sulawesi is Likupang. Have you ever visited Likupang?

Likupang is one of the Super Priority Destinations (DSP) with an extraordinary natural charm, especially the beauty of exotic beaches and underwater. That's why many domestic and foreign tourists vacation to Likupang for beach hopping.

There are many exciting activities that Sobat Parekraf can do besides visiting the white sandy beaches of Likupang. These range from viewing the natural scenery from the top of the hill, to island hopping, and even watching the annual big event in Likupang.

For Sobat Parekraf, who are planning a vacation to Likupang, here is a one-day in Likupang itinerary that can be followed:

Hunting for Sunrise in Paal Beach

A day in Likupang can be started by watching the beautiful sunrise at Paal Beach. Although you will have to drive about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Manado City, Paal Beach offers a very charming view of the sunrise.

The sunrise light penetrating a swarm of thin clouds like cotton balls greets Sobat Parekraf upon arrival. And, of course, the reflection of the sunlight on the surface of the crystal clear seawater as it illuminates the bottom of the ocean filled with all kinds of fish and coral.

While sitting on the soft beach sand, we can enjoy the exotic silhouette of the hills from Paal Beach. With its beautiful natural scenery and serene atmosphere, it's no surprise that Paal Beach is the best sunrise spot in Likupang, isn't it?

Coming to Likupang Tourism Festival

After watching the sunrise at Paal Beach, Sobat Parekraf can see the excitement of the Likupang Tourism Festival (LTF) 2023. Organized in the Paal Beach area, the LTF 2023 event is much more vibrant and spectacular than last year.

This is because the Likupang Tourism Festival 2023 involves more creative economy players. Whether performing various arts and cultural performances, to hold culinary, craft, fashion exhibitions from North Minahasa. Perfect for getting to know Likupang culture in one festival, right?

Healing at Larata Hill

If you are looking for a tourist destination for healing in Likupang. Then healing at Bukit Larata is the right choice. Traveling from Paal Beach to Bukit Larata will only take about 15 minutes. Unlike other hilly areas, the Bukit Larata track is quite gentle for beginners.

While driving, you will be treated to view the weed covered hills. Arriving at the top of Bukit Larata, we can see a green expanse combined with a beautiful view of the blue sea and Mt Dua Basudara like a painting.

If you want more tranquility, you can walk for 5-10 minutes to Kinunang Beach. Not only beautiful, but Kinunang Beach has a really clean and quiet beach atmosphere. The cool air on the beach seems to automatically "lift" the burden on your shoulders and mind.

Beach hopping at Pulisan Beach

It's called "Beach Hopping", so a day spent in Likupang will be incomplete if you don't go to Pulisan Beach. Only 8 minutes drive from Bukit Larata, Sobat Parekraf can enjoy the beauty of the beach surrounded by beautiful green hills.

Pulisan Beach has three parts of the beach, each separated by a rocky cliff that juts out into the sea. Uniquely, the cliffs have the shape of a naturally formed stone cave. Besides snorkeling to explore the underwater beauty, you can also visit the floating house in the middle of the sea at Pulisan Beach!

Island hopping

Likupang is famous for its sea charm. So if you have time, try island hopping in Likupang. One of the tourist destinations that can be visited for island hopping is Lihaga Island.

Referred to as the "piece of heaven" in Likupang, Lihaga Island has calm and crystal clear sea water. That's why many tourists come to snorkel and enjoy the underwater beauty.

After that, you can relax on the soft sandy beach while enjoying the charming sunset view. Lihaga Island is also a great place to stay. Many guesthouses on this island can be chosen as a place to spend the night in Likupang.

Let's plan a vacation to Likupang, Sob!
